This project sought to develop a large outdoor fitness offering, primarily to facilitate functional boot camp-type classes at Abbey Stadium in Redditch. Cleverly utilising a previously unused space outside the centre, it includes:
- An outdoor fitness surface which is suitable for both group training with an instructor, or independent training
- A large outdoor fitness rig catering to a range of training methods – again suitable for either group or individual use
- New fencing
- New lighting
- A cover to allow for all-weather training
- Brand new fitness equipment chosen to perfectly suit the space
Utilising marketing support from TA6 powered by Alliance Leisure, the AREA7 brand was formed. Created around the seven core ways in which the body moves, the brand is engaging, dynamic, and perfectly suits the new facility.
