Case Study: Chepstow Leisure Centre Outdoor Pitches

The improvement of the outdoor playing facilities and pitches in this location was a key component of Monmouthshire County Council’s strategy, and thus the highly collaborative scheme to provide high-quality new pitches for the local community was actioned.

The expansive works included:

New 3G double pitches
Recarpet and reline of existing ATP
Repair and reline of basketball and netball pitches
Reline of the tennis court
Upgrade of the cricket nets

Key stakeholders were involved from an early stage in order to ensure the creation of the most successful facilities possible, including MonLife, the local leisure centre and comprehensive school, Sport Wales, Football Association of Wales, Hockey Wales and Monmouthshire Junior Football League.
